Gold Hongye Paper Group Co., Ltd., established in 1996, is the household paper division of APP (China) under the Sinar Mas Group. The company employs over 10,000 people and operates 12 manufacturing plants and 24 sales branches across China. As a large-scale paper enterprise that implements the integrated “forest–pulp–paper” production model, Gold Hongye adheres to the principle of “You use paper, I plant trees—realizing a green circular economy,” and is committed to developing eco-friendly papermaking. Gold Hongye Paper’s main product lines include toilet rolls, jumbo roll tissue, facial tissues, pocket tissues, napkins, kitchen towels, hand towels, wet wipes, flushable wipes, sanitary napkins, and cotton soft towels. The company owns five major brands—Breeze, Emporia, Virjoy, Zhenzhen, and Evenly—covering mainstream, ultra-premium, premium, value, and personal care markets through a portfolio strategy that precisely targets different consumer groups. The vision of Gold Hongye Paper Group is to build a world-class green circular industry through “forest–pulp–paper integration” model.

- Breeze Zero-Carbon Tissues a product under Golden Hongye Paper, has received a carbon neutrality verification statement issued by TiGroup. The product’s carbon data is also publicly disclosed with accompanying images on the "China Carbon Disclosure Platform for Light Industrial Products and Arts-Crafts".
2024
- Breeze Virgin Wood Forest 0-Plastic Tissue, a product under Gold Hongye Paper, was selected for the 2024 list of green and low-carbon technologies and products released by the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization.
- Gold Hongye Paper’s Nantong plant was awarded the title of “Green Factory” at the Jiangsu provincial level.2023
- Virjoy Zero-Carbon Tissue, a brand under Gold Hongye Paper, was included in the 2023 list of green and low-carbon technologies and products released by the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization.
- Gold Hongye Paper launched Breeze’s first 0-plastic box tissue, making the product 100% biodegradable and effectively reducing its environmental impact.2022
- Gold Hongye Paper's Hubei plant was awarded the national-level "Green Factory" title.
- Carbon inventories have been conducted for all 12 of its manufacturing plants. Following the release of the ESG report by its parent company APP (China), Gold Hongye Paper also published its first standalone ESG report, laying a solid foundation for the sustainable development of its tissue business group.2021
- Gold Hongye Paper aligns closely with the strategic direction of its parent company, APP (China), and has established a 2030 Sustainability Roadmap, clearly setting the goal of reducing its carbon footprint by 30% by the year 2030.
- Golden Hongye Paper has launched multiple carbon-neutral household paper product lines, including the Sangguo Series Breeze Natural Color IF3-ply 120 sheets × 24 packs, Sangguo Series Breeze Natural Color HK4-ply 7 sheets × 12 packs, Emporia 3-ply 4-box boxed facial tissues, and Breeze Alcohol Wet Wipes Family Pack of 40 sheets. These are among the first household paper products in China to receive carbon footprint certification.2020
